This is a private and independent website with the aim to inform about the history of the german Zollgrenzschutz (Customs Border Security) from 1919 to 1952, especially from the re-organisation in 1937 to the end of the war. Originally the Zollgrenzschutz had to guard the german border but was sent to almost every occupied territory during world war 2.
This websites intention ist not to draw a heroic picture or to accept or tolerate what happened during the Nazism periode. This website does neither support the ideology of the National Socialist regime and its protagonists, nor racism, antisemitism and militarism.
